After-processing (surface treatment and polishing)

The following surface treatment methods are those we have experience in performing. We also offer other surface treatment and post-processing methods beyond those listed here upon customer request.

CNC Lathe Processing

Yumoto Vietnam has two types of high-quality Okuma CNC lathe processing machines. A CNC (computer numerical control) machine operates according to pre-programmed instructions and can process parts much more efficiently and accurately than manual machines. For CNC lathe machine, the workpiece rotates against a stationary cutting tool which removes pieces of material until the workpiece becomes the desired shape. Because the machine operates by rotating the workpiece, it is best used for processing precision parts made from materials of cylindrical rods. The lathe machine can process all kinds of plastic and metal materials, including harder ones such as steel.

CNC Milling Processing

Machining centers are machines that can process precision parts and change tools according to the pre-programmed instructions. In CNC milling processing, the workpiece is placed on a fixed position while a cutting tool moves to process the workpiece in the desired shape and size. At Yumoto Vietnam, we have 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis milling machines. We use the 3-axis milling machines for simple precision parts, and the 4-axis and the 5-axis for more complex shapes and processing procedure.
