Yumoto Vietnam participated in the “Vietnam – Japan Space Vision Forum 2026,” which was held at the Vietnam National Space Center in Hòa Lạc from March 12 to 15, 2026.
Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính also attended the opening ceremony on March 13, 2026. Along with the inauguration of the VNSC, this event served as an international forum highlighting the importance of Japan–Vietnam cooperation in the space sector. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of developing space science and technology, promoting international collaboration, and strengthening Vietnam’s space industry.

This international event aims to further strengthen cooperation between Japan and Vietnam in the field of space. Within the framework of the event, there will be technical discussion sessions and lectures on topics such as satellite technology, the use of satellite data, artificial intelligence, space science and education, and the potential of the space industry. In addition, there will be business networking activities, exhibitions, and space experience programs for the public.
This is a notable event that connects space technology with the resolution of social issues such as disaster prevention, environmental protection, and agriculture, while also opening up new possibilities for cooperation between Japan and Vietnam.

The reason Yumoto Vietnam sought cooperation with the VNSC is that the headquarters of Yumoto Electric joined the Japanese space industry about 10 years ago and has extensive experience in manufacturing satellite- and rocket-related components for major organizations and manufacturers, including JAXA.
Furthermore, Yumoto Vietnam also aims to contribute to Vietnam’s space industry and discovered the VNSC while researching organizations in Vietnam similar to JAXA. Upon learning that the VNSC aims to produce and operate 100% domestically manufactured satellites, Yumoto Vietnam proposed a collaboration. The goals and aspirations of both parties aligned, leading to this partnership.

Through participating in this forum, we have reaffirmed the importance of Japan–Vietnam cooperation in the space sector and the expected role of Yumoto Vietnam. We will continue to value our collaboration with the VNSC and contribute to the development of Vietnam’s space industry through our manufacturing capabilities. Stay tuned for our future efforts.
