On the morning of April 2, 2025, Yumoto Vietnam Co., Ltd. had a friendly meeting with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology – VNU-HCM. The meeting marked an important milestone in strengthening the collaborative relationship between the university and the enterprise, opening up numerous development opportunities for mechanical engineering students.
On behalf of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Trong Hieu – Party Committee Secretary and Dean of the Faculty – warmly welcomed Mr. Fukumori Toyoki, Director of Yumoto Vietnam Co., Ltd., and Mr. Nguyen Van Nam, the Plant Manager.
With the aim of expanding its operations, the company targets to recruit 50 mechanical engineering graduates annually, prioritizing candidates from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology – VNU-HCM.
In a cordial and open atmosphere, the two sides engaged in in-depth discussions about potential cooperation areas, including:
Participating in Faculty events such as the Job Fair and Mechanical Engineering Day to connect with and recruit talented students
Internship and experience program in Japan: 10-day visit at the headquarters of Yumoto Electric in Japan, fully funded by Yumoto Vietnam
Recruiting interns and fresh graduates
Collaborative research on advanced material processing methods such as ceramics and rare metals
Automation of processing lines
Development of AI-powered, multilingual CAD automation software
The meeting concluded successfully, opening up promising and effective cooperation opportunities between the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Yumoto Vietnam Co., Ltd. in the near future.
