In order to promptly grasp the difficulties and direct impacts on the business community in the city caused by changes in U.S. tax policies, and to provide a basis for reporting and advising the City People's Committee to propose that the central government put forward arguments and negotiate with the U.S. side to reconsider the tariff rates, the Department of Industry and Trade organized a meeting and discussion with representatives of business associations, sectoral associations, and import-export enterprises in the city—especially those involved in the production and business of export goods to the U.S. market.
