Two years ago, Yumonam received a proposal from Takayama Shokai, a company that mainly partners with elementary schools. These schools often organize environmental protection lessons and activities to collect plastic waste washed ashore, then recycle the plastic to create innovative products.
Takayama Shokai had purchased a small manual plastic press and used pre-made molds, such as button and ruler molds, to conduct these lessons. However, many parents hoped that the lessons could produce more unique products, specifically a whistle that could be used in emergencies, such as natural disasters.
As a result, Yumonam was asked to manufacture a mold for this whistle. Today, Yumonam received real images from the "How to Make a Whistle" lesson at Ikego Elementary School. Although there are no actual photos of the students making the whistles, we believe this was a fun and meaningful experience for them.
