The patience in CNC machining

At Yumoto Vietnam, the CNC machining process relies not only on modern machinery but also heavily on human factors. One of the most important qualities in this work is patience.

In machining, every detail, no matter how small, must be programmed, tooling set up, and cutting parameters configured with high precision. Even a minor error in the preparation stage can result in the entire product having to be re-machined from scratch. Therefore, engineers need to be patient in monitoring the machines, controlling the cutting process, and adjusting each parameter to ensure quality.

Engineers at Yumonam often spend a lot of time fine-tuning the speed and position of the cutting tools. Although this work requires meticulousness and caution, the result is products with smooth surfaces and dimensions accurate to the micrometer. More importantly, all engineers at Yumonam, even the younger ones, are trained in programming, enabling them to be more proactive throughout the entire production process. This demonstrates that patience combined with programming skills is the key to creating superior quality.

Patience is also evident during the inspection phase. After machining is complete, each product is measured using calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, or 3D measuring machines. This is repetitive work that cannot be overlooked, as even a single deviation can affect the entire batch.

At Yumoto, patience is not only considered an essential skill but also an integral part of Japanese manufacturing culture that is strictly adhered to. This spirit has enabled the company to create products that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also durable, precise, and trustworthy for customers.
