We’re excited to announce a major milestone in our collaboration with Overlord — the completion of the very first prototype of their Model 1 coffee grinding machine. Since April 2025, Yumoto has partnered closely with Overlord to bring their coffee grinding machine to life with our CNC machining technology. Their design is completely original and have been granted an Invention Patent.
From day one, our sales team and senior engineers have been involved, offering expertise on dimensional tolerance adjustments and design to ensure smooth assembly of parts. In July, the first prototype came to life — featuring over 15 CNC precision parts produced by Yumoto. Highlights include a 2 mm diameter thin PTFE rod, a black-anodized aluminum main case, and SUS304 stainless steel parts manufactured to a general tolerance of ±0.05 mm.
