Product Idea and Concept: A Bottle Opener 

This product was manufactured with the purpose of being used as a bottle opener.
Aluminum was used as the material, and the production quantity was one prototype. For surface treatment, hard anodizing was adopted to ensure durability.
This time, there was a theme related to space. However, since this was a field I had never thought deeply about before, I did not want to make something too complicated and instead wanted to connect it with an item that can actually be used in real life. Therefore, I manufactured a rocket-shaped bottle opener — something that can remind people of this theme every time it is used.
Since the hook part of the bottle opener is likely to be subjected to load, I chose hard anodizing treatment to reduce wear.

Design with Fusion 360

I used Fusion 360 for the design. Since I had completed some basic tutorials beforehand, I was able to proceed with the fundamental operations relatively smoothly. However, when I actually started to shape it into a real product, I realized that this alone was not enough.
During the process, there were many moments when I had to start over or try different approaches when things did not go well. Also, when there were things I did not understand, I proceeded while consulting with the engineers.
In particular, for a bottle opener, the dimensions of the hook are important, so I kept that in mind and tried to determine the shape as carefully as possible.
