For special plastics like EPOXY and Bakelite, we apply dry machining, a process that uses no lubricants or coolants. Instead, our engineers use air to clear chips carefully, preventing contamination — especially important for insulating materials used in electrical applications.
Recently, our team successfully machined Rossnaboard, a high-end insulating material. Because it is extremely costly, we first trial-machined with epoxy, which has similar properties. Once the process was optimized, we confidently proceeded to Rossnaboard production with excellent results.
